This is the first assignment for my Digital Art Class. The assignment was to recreate in image using Adobe Illustrator. This is the first time I’ve used Illustrator since 1997. Man, has it changed! It is more user-friendly but it also has a lot more to learn about too!
I chose a picture of my daughter Kaya at the beach. I am trying to incorporate more white space in my artwork so; I deliberately left out the rest of the image. This was really difficult for me to do because it feels unnatural to me but I think I found the right balance.
